Have you been thinking about eloping somewhere in the California Mountains?
You might choose an elopement if:
1. You're confused why people enjoy the wedding planning process -- you're looking for a way out!
2. You prefer small dinner parties of 4-5 people over big house parties of 50+ people
3. You don't love the idea of standing up in front of a large audience for one of the most intimate, important days of your life.
4. You like adventures (both big and small), hiking in beautiful places, exploring mountains and forests and lakes, and maybe hobbies like paddle-boarding or rock climbing.
5. Stunning wedding portraits are one of your biggest priorities and you want to go for that killer mountain backdrop shot.
When you elope we can plan a day for just the two of you, or an intimate wedding party of up to 15 guests. Some couples are worried about hurting their fiend's and family's feelings if they don't have a big wedding. I can help you figure out how to communicate this to them.
While you can get married at a beautiful venue, eloping allows you to go (almost) anywhere. From mountains to lakes to forests to sand dunes, there are endless options to choose from, and you aren't even limited to one location.
Some places, especially national parks, require permits. I'm here to help you navigate all of that.
An elopement still requires some planning. But it's a different kind of planning. Skip the long guest-list with the expensive menu, the invitations, the seating charts, the decorations, etc.
When you choose to elope, I operate as Photographer + Planner. I will help you to pick a stunning location for a fun adventure, an intimate vow ceremony, and the perfect timeline for photography.
Up to 18 hours over 2 days
Up to 12 hours
Up to 6 hours
Want to have it all? A weekend wedding will be the experience of a lifetime.
Some couples book this for an overnight backpacking trip. Others choose the weekend option so they can spend one day on a full adventure, hiking to a summit to say their vows, and then include their friends and family the next day for a reception, and maybe even a repeat of their ceremony.
If you're wondering if this package is for you, ask me how we can fill a whole weekend!
For couples who want to say their vows on a REAL adventure, and to be unhindered by time.
Full Day coverage allows us to explore several locations or go all in on an EPIC hike, have time to eat and play and relax. You'll be able to slow down and be fully present. This package is also ideal for couples who want to include family and friends for the experience, either all day or for a "reception" afterwards.
12 hours is enough time to see both sunrise AND sunset, and we can consider shooting under the stars!
For couples who are looking for something super simple. 6 hours gives us time to explore 1 or 2 locations (depending on how long it takes to get there), say vows at an epic vista, and take portraits at either sunrise OR sunset. Depending on the location we choose, you can bring friends and family, and enjoy an activity like hot springs, paddle-boarding, etc.
You'll be surprised how quickly we fill 6 hours, but I can help you plan the timeline efficiently! If you you'd like to go on an EPIC hike into the mountains, or simply want more time, upgrade to Full Day coverage.
