Like wildflowers in the spring and summer, the aspen color change is ephemeral. There’s something a little extra magical about such bright beautiful colors that only last a few short weeks. Your best bet is to schedule your session between October 1 – 14, but some years they start the last week of September or reach into the 3rd week of October.
